Dr. Austin received his Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of North Dakota. He continued his schooling at Northwestern Health Sciences University where he earned his doctorate in Chiropractic. After graduation, he accepted a position in Minnesota as an associate doctor. He was there for 2 years and in the summer of 2021 decided to move back to Sioux Falls to join the Westside Chiropractic Center team.
Dr. Austin started seeing a chiropractor when he was 6 years old because his lower back hurt while jumping on a trampoline. After a few adjustments, Dr. Austin was back to playing and jumping on the trampoline with no pain. This experience not only improved his childhood, but it also turned him into a lifelong believer in Chiropractic. Dr. Austin wants everyone to have the same opportunity for a natural, pain-free life that he has. He truly enjoys meeting and educating families on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle and how chiropractic can help them achieve their health goals!
He enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife Molly, their son Cooper, and their two golden retriever’s Jax and Watt! One of their favorite things to do is to go boating and swimming in nearby lakes. When the seasons turn, he also enjoys going snowmobiling and building snowmen with his family. Overall, the Lien family maintains and promotes an active lifestyle as that is key to living a long and healthy life.
